Italian to Czech Engineering Translation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a set of Italian technical manuals covering engineering topics that must be available to our Czech-speaking field team. Accuracy is critical: every specification, measurement and safety note has to read as if the manual was originally written in Czech, while still mirroring the Italian source page for page.
What I will supply
• The complete manuals in editable Italian files (mainly Word and a few PDF drawings)
• A small reference glossary we already use internally
What I expect back
• Fully translated Czech versions in the same file formats and layout
• All tables, captions and call-outs kept intact
• Terminology choices consistent with the supplied glossary and standard EN engineering jargon
• A short change log noting any ambiguous source phrases you had to clarify
I welcome translators who are comfortable working with engineering material—gear ratios, tolerances, schematic references, the usual. If you rely on CAT tools such as Trados or MemoQ for consistency, great; just no raw machine translation. Turnaround for the first 20 pages is my immediate priority, so please let me know how quickly you can start and your estimated pace per day.
