I’ve completed a manuscript that collects generations of family stories and photos, and I want it to read as smoothly as any professionally published book. I’m looking for a meticulous proofreader to catch every stray comma, awkward sentence, or inconsistency while still letting the warm, personal tone shine through.
You’ll receive a single Word document (and, if helpful, a PDF for layout reference). Please work with Track Changes so I can review every edit, then supply a clean, ready-to-print version once all revisions are approved. If you spot factual discrepancies in dates or names, flag them for me rather than rewriting.
Deliverables
• Edited manuscript with all changes tracked
• Final proofed copy, free of mark-ups
• Brief summary of any issues that need my confirmation (e.g., conflicting dates, missing references)
