Native English Transcriber Needed

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and reliable Native English Speaker to transcribe audio files with exceptional accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a keen ear, excellent grammar and punctuation skills, and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines. You will be responsible for listening to audio recordings (including interviews, focus groups, lectures, and podcasts) and creating verbatim or clean-read transcripts that capture every word and nuance clearly. Key Responsibilities Accurately transcribe audio files into well-formatted Word documents or Google Docs. Carefully listen to and decipher challenging audio, including accents, cross-talk, and technical jargon. Ensure 100% grammatical accuracy, correct punctuation, and proper sentence structure. Identify and note any inaudible segments or speaker uncertainties appropriately. Adhere to specific formatting guidelines and client instructions for each project. Manage your time effectively to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality. Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all audio content and transcribed materials. Required Skills and Qualifications Native English speaker with an impeccable command of the English language. Exceptional listening skills and a sharp ear for detail. Superb typing speed (minimum 60-70 WPM) with a high degree of accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and general computer operations. Familiarity with transcription software and foot pedals is a strong plus. Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and be self-motivated. High-speed internet connection and a reliable computer for downloading/uploading files.
