Portuguese-English Medical Translation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need several Portuguese technical documents in the medical domain rendered into clear, accurate English. These range from device manuals and clinical study summaries to physician reports, and they all demand strict adherence to standard medical terminology and formatting conventions.
You will be working directly from the native files (mostly Word and the occasional PDF) and returning fully translated, proof-read versions that match the source layout. Consistency matters, so if you use a CAT tool such as Trados or memoQ, please let me know; a termbase of recurring expressions will be helpful for future updates.
Confidentiality is essential because the texts contain patient-related data. I will supply the source files once we agree on scope and timeline, and I’m happy to answer any content questions during the process.
Deliverables:
• Final English versions in the original file formats
• A simple glossary of critical terms
• One round of post-delivery edits if needed
