You’ll make sure the vibe, message, and lingo are spot on for who’s reading them. As a vital player in diverse teams, your know-how will be essential in guiding organizations to connect with local stakeholders, from clients and customers to the folks within the team.
We’re lookin’ for someone who’s got a solid grip on both Italian and English, and has plenty of experience in business chats, translations, or consulting gigs. You'll be teaming up with the biz dev, marketing, and comms squads to make sure all the content—be it promo, techy, or legal—hits the top-notch language standards. Your job ain't just about translating words; you'll be diving deep into the cultural vibes, making sure that everything hits home with our Italian-speaking clients, partners, and team members.
In this role, you'll be all about helping businesses smash those language barriers in their corporate chats. You'll be taking a good look at and polishing up business presentations, internal memos, legal docs, and marketing stuff, making sure they fit right in with the local way of doing things and how we chat around here. In addition, you'll be key in adapting company policies, contracts, and product docs to fit Italian legal standards, ensuring they're straightforward, to the point, and crystal clear.
The role requires strong project management skills, as you will often need to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines. An ability to balance attention to detail with high-level strategic thinking is crucial for success. You will not only ensure the accuracy of translations but also actively participate in the creation of content that supports the company’s overall communication strategy. This may involve writing original content in Italian, editing existing materials, or reviewing outsourced translations for quality and consistency.
As a Language Consultant, you will also provide training and workshops to internal teams on best practices for communicating with Italian clients and partners. This will include offering guidance on cultural differences in communication styles, helping teams develop tailored messages that appeal to their audience while avoiding common pitfalls in cross-cultural business interactions.
As part of this consulting work, you will be the one who determines how companies communicate with their friends who speak Italian.
