The ideal applicant will have a track record of successfully translating various business documents, presentations, and communications from English to Chinese. All translations must be assured to be accurate, clear, and culturally relevant. More than 100 pages of documents must be processed by the applicant within two weeks. Essential abilities for this include being efficient under pressure and paying great attention to detail. To maintain the original tone and objective, tailored techniques are required for a variety of papers including marketing materials, internal communications, thorough reports, and strategic plans. In addition, the applicant will be expected to provide their skills as a business interpreter at a variety of corporate gatherings, including meetings, conferences, and more. One key to facilitating effective communication between Chinese and English speakers is making sure that one side fully understands the other. Essential talents for this profession include the ability to translate fluently in real-time, often under pressure.
