English Poetry Translation to Mandarin
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a collection of free-verse poems written in English that I am ready to bring to a Chinese-speaking audience. Because the work is fiction in poetic form, nuance, rhythm, and imagery matter just as much as literal meaning. I’m looking for a translator who can recreate the voice and emotional cadence of each poem in natural, contemporary Mandarin while remaining faithful to the original intent.
The source file is already organized poem-by-poem in a Word document, so you can work directly inside that file or in a parallel Google Doc if you prefer. Please retain basic layout—line breaks, stanza spacing, italicized phrases—so that the translated manuscript mirrors the English version page for page.
