Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese translator to introduce Native American culture to the Western world. The primary responsibility of this position is to accurately translate Native American cultural information, historical facts, traditions, and stories from English into Chinese. The translated materials will be used to raise awareness and understanding of Native American culture among Chinese-speaking audiences.

Responsibilities:
- Translate written materials related to Native American culture, including articles, books, brochures, and educational resources from English to Chinese.
- Ensure accurate and culturally sensitive translations that maintain the integrity and nuances of the original content.
- Conduct thorough research to understand the cultural context and historical background of Native American tribes and their traditions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, historians, and anthropologists to clarify any cultural ambiguities and address translation challenges.
- Adapt translations for different target audiences, considering regional variations and dialects within the Chinese-speaking community.
- Review and proofread translated content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
- Assist in the creation of engaging and informative content in Chinese that effectively conveys the richness and diversity of Native American culture.
- Stay updated on current events, research, and developments related to Native American culture to enhance translation accuracy and relevancy.
- Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and content creators to develop visually appealing and culturally appropriate materials for dissemination.
- Provide linguistic and cultural expertise during project planning and strategy discussions.

Requirements:
- Native or near-native fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- A strong understanding of Chinese culture and an in-depth knowledge of Native American culture, history, traditions, and customs.
- Proven experience in professional translation, specifically in the field of cultural studies, anthropology, or related disciplines.
- Excellent research skills and the ability to independently gather information from various sources to ensure accurate and up-to-date translations.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality translations that effectively convey the original message.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to navigate complex cultural concepts and adapt translations accordingly.
- Familiarity with translation tools and software to improve efficiency and maintain consistency.

Preferred Qualifications:
