Bengali and English Medical Interpreter (OPI)

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bengali/English Medical Interpreter to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and at least 1 year of experience in medical interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and professional Bengali/English interpretation services in medical settings, primarily via Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI)
Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and adhere to industry best practices
Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our interpretation services
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with industry trends and best practices


Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in medical interpretation, specifically in Bengali/English language pair
Strong knowledge of medical terminology in both Bengali and English
Proficient in Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (preferred)
Certification from an accredited interpreter training program (preferred)
