Freelance Audio Transcriber and Book Editor

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Freelance Audio Transcriber and Book Editor to help us turn 1 hour and 30 minutes of audio into a text that can form the basis of a book. You will be responsible for transcribing the audio, omitting duplicates, and finding the core meaning, as well as arranging the parts correctly and performing basic formatting, grammar, and logic checks.

Responsibilities:

Transcribe 1 hour and 30 minutes of audio into a text file that accurately represents the original.
Omit duplicates and find the core meaning of the audio.
Arrange the parts correctly according to the instructions provided.
Perform basic formatting, grammar, and logic checks to ensure the text is clear and readable.
Create a text file containing the contents of the book, including chapter headings, etc.
Create a text file that describes the details of where each audio file went into (which chapters).
Requirements:

Proven experience as a freelance audio transcriber and book editor.
Excellent listening, typing, and editing skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Familiarity with basic formatting and grammar rules.
Access to necessary equipment, such as a computer and audio software.
