Your role will involve translating and adapting recipes, cooking tips, and food-related articles to ensure they are culturally relevant, accurate, and engaging. This is a remote, freelance project with flexible hours—perfect for food enthusiasts, students, or anyone passionate about Chinese cuisine and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate and adapt culinary content (e.g., recipes, cooking tips) from English to Chinese or vice versa.
Ensure the content is culturally appropriate and resonates with the target audience.
Proofread and edit materials for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Collaborate with our team to align the content with culinary and cultural goals.
Requirements:
Native-level proficiency in Chinese (Simplified or Traditional) and intermediate fluency in English.
Strong understanding of Chinese cuisine, cooking techniques, and food culture.
No prior professional experience required—beginners are welcome!
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in culinary arts, food blogging, or cultural studies is a plus.
Familiarity with SEO and digital content creation.
Experience with translation or localization is a bonus but not mandatory.
