AI Data Annotation Specialist (Audio Transcription & Speech Annotation)
Project Description
We are looking for detail-oriented Data Annotation Specialists to join our AI Speech Data Collection project. The selected freelancers will be responsible for transcribing audio recordings, annotating speech data, and ensuring high-quality annotations that will be used for training and evaluating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) models.
This is a remote, project-based opportunity for individuals with excellent listening skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow annotation guidelines.
Responsibilities
• Listen carefully to assigned audio recordings.
• Transcribe speech accurately according to project guidelines.
• Perform speech annotation and audio alignment.
• Identify and annotate silence, background noise, fillers, adult speech, and unintelligible speech.
• Follow annotation guidelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Complete assigned tasks within the specified deadlines.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy throughout the project.
Requirements
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills.
• Fluency in English (Knowledge of Hindi/Odia or other Indian languages is an added advantage).
• Basic computer skills.
• Laptop/Desktop with a stable internet connection.
• Ability to understand and follow annotation guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in Data Annotation or Audio Transcription.
• Experience working on AI or Machine Learning projects.
• Familiarity with speech annotation tools is a plus.
