Kriolu Software Manual Translation Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a collection of software-focused technical manuals written in Kriolu that must be rendered with absolute accuracy into two separate languages: Portuguese and English. Because these are technical documents, consistency of terminology, preservation of code snippets, command-line examples, and any embedded UI strings is critical.
You’ll be working directly from the original Kriolu source files (mostly Word and PDF). I’ll supply reference glossaries and, where available, screenshots of the software interface to help you keep wording aligned with what users actually see on screen.
Deliverables
• A Portuguese translation of each manual, delivered in the same layout and file format as the source
• An English translation of each manual, likewise mirroring the original formatting
• A brief terminology sheet highlighting key software terms you standardised across both languages
Before we start, I’d like one short sample passage translated so I can check tone and terminology choices. Once approved, we move on to the full set. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet an agreed timeline are the keys to success on this project.
