Electronics Document Translation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Product sheets for consumer electronics are ready in English and now need to be translated in German, French, and Italian. Each Main sheet runs two to three pages and contains precise technical specs with marketing-style, so the translation must shift naturally between formal spec language and a friendlier pitch, depending on the section. No pre-approved glossary exists; key terms should be rendered intuitively in each language while preserving their original meaning.
A clean layout matters almost as much as the words themselves. Whenever possible, keep tables, bullet alignment, and character counts identical to the source so the final PDFs can be dropped straight into our design workflow without extra formatting passes. Working in a CAT tool is welcome if it helps you manage repetitions and maintain consistency, but simple, well-formatted Word/PDF files are fine too.
Deliverables
• One German, one French, and one Italian version of every sheet, matched to the English layout
• Final files (Word or InDesign or PDF) plus a ready-to-share PDF for each language.
Before sign-off, a quick round of in-context proofreading will be part of acceptance so any line breaks, units, or trademark mentions stay accurate.
