Corporate Japanese Communications Translator

Job ID: 39882884

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I need a seasoned Japanese translator who can move effortlessly between persuasive copy and dense data while keeping every line faithful to our brand voice. The work focuses on two streams: outward-facing marketing materials—think campaign copy, brochures, social posts—and detailed technical reports that accompany new product releases. Source content is in English; the audience is the Japanese market.

Absolute clarity is the priority. Each piece must read as if it were drafted natively in Japanese, conveying precise meaning and nuance without sacrificing the polished, professional tone our stakeholders expect. Consistent terminology, cultural appropriateness, and a smooth flow that suits both B2B and consumer contexts are non-negotiable.

To make that happen, I’ll ask you to:
• Translate and localize the assigned marketing assets and technical documents.
• Maintain and expand our glossary and translation memory (we currently work in Trados, but any CAT tool that can export compatible files is fine).
• Flag ambiguities in the source text and suggest fixes before translation to protect message integrity.
• Return ready-to-publish files or a clean bilingual table for our design team when layout makes direct edits impractical.

Acceptance criteria
• Every string rendered into natural, error-free Japanese.
• Key brand terms match the supplied glossary exactly.
• QA pass completed with tracked fixes shown.
• Deadlines met as agreed.

If this mirrors your skill set, let me know which similar marketing or technical projects you’ve handled and the tools you prefer. I’m looking forward to building a reliable, long-term collaboration.
