We are seeking a skilled freelancer to proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. Our aim is to ensure that our written materials are error-free, professional, and well-polished.

Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly review and edit written content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Ensure consistency in writing style, tone, and formatting
- Identify and correct any syntactical or structural issues, as well as inconsistencies in language usage
- Offer suggestions for clarity, flow, and overall improvement of the content
- Meet set deadlines and deliver high-quality work

Requirements:
- Proven experience in proofreading and editing, with a strong command of the English language
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with various style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago Manual of Style)
- Proficient in using word processing software and tools for tracking changes (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Track Changes)
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback

- This is a remote position, and the freelancer will work from their own location
- The project duration and workload may vary based on the availability and needs of the client
- Payment will be negotiated based on the scope of work and agreed-upon rates
