Proofreading and reviewing the accuracy of a content

An external proofreader is expected to conduct a written review of the accuracy of qualification(s) or unit(s) assigned to them, with regards to spelling, grammar, formatting, punctuation, and content.

Responsibilities

The ability to comment on the accuracy of the qualification/unit in terms of:

Spelling being correct throughout all materials

Punctuation having been applied correctly throughout all materials

Grammar conforming to standard rules throughout all materials

Formatting of the materials being correct

The instructions and information provided in the materials being delivered in a legible, precise, and easily comprehended manner

Templating of materials accurately reflects any templates provided

DE&I compliance in relation to the relevant checklist.
Experience:

Excellent command of English and knowledge of grammar and punctuation rules

Good communication skills

Confident use of Information technology to provide the review
