Print Media Proofreader

The Proofreader is responsible for ensuring that all materials reflect the highest level of quality, readability, and alignment with brand tone and voice standards.

The role requires proficiency in editing/proofreading, attention to detail, deadline sensitivity, autonomy, and teamwork.

You ensure grammatical, legal, and factual accuracy in all copy. The role requires a basic knowledge of scientific messaging.

You must proof content, suggest changes, verify links, sources, and correct grammar and punctuation.

You ensure that graphics and illustrations are correctly captioned and referred to in the text. You collaborate with the project management team to meet specific project objectives, ensure consistent voice and tone, and brand messaging guidelines and directives are met.

You validate copy meets legal guidelines and deliver completed and error-free copy.

You read and comment as needed to ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
