KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
1. Proven experience in the building industry (or similar) understanding of approval requirements (post & planning staged) and activities relating to construction sites
2. Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and approve plans and drawing
3. Self-motivated with sound problem solving, negotiating and analytical skills.
4. Ability to build and manage strong relationships with all stakeholders and make a positive contribution to Council while managing a high workload with competing interests.
5. Excellent customer service and high level analytical oral and written communication skills.
6. Ability to help develop, support and mentor team members within a multi-disciplinary team environment to improve their knowledge and decision making.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- English language skills: writing, spelling, grammar
- Experience in construction management and planning
- Experience in applying for white collar positions
