Fashion E-Commerce Portuguese Translation
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m rolling out a Portuguese-language version of my fashion and apparel website and need every product description rendered accurately and persuasively for native shoppers. The source copy is already polished in English; what I’m after is a fluid, on-brand translation that keeps sizing details, fabric composition, care notes and subtle sales copy intact while sounding as if it was written originally in Portuguese.
You’ll be working directly with website text (no PDFs), so preserving simple HTML tags and line breaks is important. I’ll supply the descriptions in a spreadsheet and expect the translated text returned in the same format so the dev team can slip it straight into the site.
Deliverables
• Fully translated product descriptions for all SKUs provided (about 250 words each on average)
• Same structure, HTML snippets and character limits respected
• Tone and terminology aligned with contemporary fashion vocabulary
• Quick note flagging any ambiguous source phrases that might need clarification
Once I receive the sheet back, I’ll paste the content into staging and do a live proof. If everything reads naturally and no layout breaks appear, the job is done.
