Medical Translation Portuguese-English
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have a set of Portuguese technical documents in the medical field that must be rendered into clear, precise English. These files include procedure descriptions, device specifications, and clinician guidelines; accuracy is non-negotiable because the material will be referenced by healthcare professionals.
I will supply the original PDFs and, where available, editable source files. The translated versions should mirror the layout, preserve all tables, charts, and terminology, and be returned in both editable Word format and a clean PDF. If you prefer to work in a CAT environment such as SDL Trados, memoQ, or Wordfast, feel free to do so as long as the final output is consistent across platforms.
Acceptance criteria
• Every medical term retains its intended meaning, supported by standard English-language references.
• No machine-translation artefacts; style reads naturally to an English-speaking clinician.
• Formatting, section numbering, and figure captions match the original.
• One round of revisions included to address any queries from my internal reviewer.
