Medical Portuguese-English Translation
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have a series of Portuguese-language medical documents that must read as if they were drafted in English from the outset. The files are technical in nature—clinical study notes, device specifications, and patient information sheets—so precise medical terminology, correct unit conversion, and preservation of any tables, captions, or footnotes are essential.
The task involves:
• Producing a native-sounding English version of each document while retaining the original structure and pagination.
• Flagging any ambiguous terms or missing source text so I can clarify quickly.
• Delivering the final files in the same editable format they arrive in (mostly Word, with the occasional Excel table).
A brief glossary of any specialist terms you standardise will help me keep future updates consistent. I will check accuracy against industry references (e.g., MedDRA, Stedman’s) before approving the work, so please use those or equivalent resources as you translate.
Let me know your turnaround time for the first 3,200-word batch and your process for ensuring medical-grade accuracy.
