English to Chinese Medical Translation
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need an experienced medical translator with a solid life-sciences background to turn a steady flow of English documents into precise, reader-friendly Chinese. The work covers three core document types—patient information leaflets, clinical trial reports, and full regulatory submissions—so accuracy, consistency of terminology, and awareness of compliance language are essential.
Your wording must resonate with each target reader: plain, reassuring language for patients, terminology-correct phrasing for healthcare professionals, and strictly compliant formatting for regulatory bodies. Beyond literal translation, I expect you to flag ambiguities, preserve all dosage and protocol data exactly, and follow any style sheets or glossaries I supply.
Deliverables for each assignment:
• Clean Chinese translation in Word and PDF
• Tracked-changes bilingual version for review
• Updated terminology glossary (if new terms arise)
A proven record in medical or life-science translation is required; CAT-tool proficiency (Trados, MemoQ or similar) is a plus because I maintain translation memories for future updates.
Please indicate your typical turnaround for a 2,000-word clinical report and attach one recent sample that shows your attention to medical detail. Once we agree on terms, I’ll share the first batch under NDA so we can get started right away.
