Your task is to render each story faithfully into Brazilian Portuguese, keeping the language age-appropriate, rhythmic, and soothing for a pre-school listener while preserving every educational nuance. Idiomatic accuracy is more important than literal word-for-word equivalence; I want the stories to sound as though they were originally crafted in Portuguese.
Deliverables
• A clean .docx file (or Google-Doc link) for each story, formatted paragraph-by-paragraph to mirror the Spanish original.
• A brief translator’s note at the end of each file highlighting any cultural substitutions or rhyme changes you introduced, so I can review intent quickly.
Acceptance check
The translation should read aloud smoothly, avoid regional slang too advanced for a 3-5 audience, and keep sentence length short enough for bedtime pacing. I will run a random read-aloud test—if any passage feels awkward or loses the educational point, I will ask for a revision.
