The role calls for a male interpreter originally from Hong Kong—this background matters because the officer has requested someone who is culturally familiar with that region’s dialect and mannerisms. If you also have roots in Taiwan or Malaysia, feel free to mention it, but Hong Kong experience is the priority.
Previous exposure to I-485 marriage-based interviews is a big plus, though I will still consider you if you have solid general immigration-related interpreting experience and can quickly learn the specific flow of this interview type.
