Hindi-language academic lecture transcription
Budget: €2 – €6 EUR
I have a set of Hindi lectures on core academic subjects that need to be transcribed into text. Each audio file is approximately 30–60 minutes long. Since the transcripts are mainly for quick reference, an accuracy level of about 70–80% is sufficient.
Here’s what I’ll need from you:
• A clean-verbatim transcript for each lecture, provided as an individual DOCX or plain-text file.
• Simple time-stamps added roughly every two minutes to help locate important sections.
• Basic speaker labels, but only when multiple voices are distinctly identifiable.
No specialized formatting or translation is required—just clear, readable Hindi text with standard punctuation. You may use tools like Otter, Whisper, Descript, or any similar ASR software, but a light manual review is expected to maintain the target accuracy.
The timeline is flexible. Please let me know how many hours of audio you can realistically process each week so we can schedule the queue accordingly. I’ll begin by sending a five-minute sample so we can both confirm the workflow and quality before moving on to the full set.
