Chinese & Russian Exhibition Interpreter

Job ID: 40301441

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I am exhibiting at an upcoming trade-show and need someone who can switch comfortably between Mandarin and Russian while I meet visitors at my stand. The crowd will be small—about 10 to 30 people at any one time—so the work centres on clear, personable dialogue rather than stage mic work.

Your role is to stand with me, listen to each side, and render the conversation smoothly in the other language. Most exchanges will be brief product explanations and follow-up questions; when a brochure or business card needs quick on-the-spot translation, I’ll hand it to you as well. Whether you prefer consecutive interpreting or a low-voice “whisper” technique is fine as long as the conversation keeps flowing naturally for both parties.

Please let me know:
• How many similar in-booth interpreting jobs you have handled.
• Any trade-show or industry specialties you feel confident with.
• Your availability for a short video call so we can test audio quality and chemistry before the event.

I will confirm event dates, location and daily schedule once we connect. Looking forward to working together and making sure every visitor feels heard in their own language.
