Transcribe Fiction Audio to Google Docs
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
My entire novel lives in a set of audio recordings and I need those spoken words turned into a clean manuscript in Google Docs. You will be working from the recordings only—no handwritten notes or scans are involved—so strong listening accuracy and the ability to capture narrative pacing, dialogue tags, and paragraph breaks as they are spoken is essential.
I am after standard manuscript formatting: Times New Roman (or similar serif), 12-pt, double-spaced, with a new page break for each chapter. No advanced layout or styling is required beyond that. Light, common-sense corrections for obvious verbal stumbles are welcome, but I do not want substantive editing; just faithful transcription.
Confidentiality is important, as this is unpublished fiction. Expect a straightforward acceptance check: the final Google Doc should match the recordings word-for-word (minus stumbles), follow the basic formatting above, and preserve all chapter markers I announce in the audio.
