Game Localization to Portuguese
Budget: $100 – $5,000 USD
The entire written layer of my game—story dialogues, menu/UI strings, and the in-game tutorials—now needs to read naturally in Portuguese. You will translate every visible word, enter the Portuguese text back into the master string sheet, then run a full linguistic QA pass inside the latest build to be sure nothing overflows, breaks the UI, or changes intended meaning.
Because I don’t yet have a glossary or style guide, part of the assignment is to establish a living terminology list as you translate. Consistency across quests, items, and tutorial pop-ups is critical, so I’ll review that list with you before we lock final wording.
Deliverables
• Completed English-to-Portuguese string sheet (dialogues, UI, tutorials)
• Terminology/glossary document created during translation
• Linguistic QA report with screenshots for any layout or context issues and the proposed fixes
A build, the current CSV string file, and context notes for key scenes will be shared as soon as we agree on milestones. Expect a short turnaround beta so your translation can be seen directly in-game and tweaked before we close.
