historic distributor agreements Research to Chinese
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I have a carefully sourced academic-journal study on Nikon’s glass business that includes historic distributor agreements, annotated Excel tables, and a supporting PowerPoint deck. Only the passages I will flag—commercial terms, distributor lists, and a handful of data points—need to be translated into both Mandarin and Cantonese.
Because some of the material is commercially sensitive, I will ask you to sign a brief NDA before we begin. Accuracy and discretion are non-negotiable: technical vocabulary, legal phrasing, and numeric data must carry over perfectly, and the layout in Excel and PowerPoint should remain intact so I can drop the files straight back into my publication workflow.
Deliverables
• Word or Google Doc containing the Mandarin and Cantonese versions of each specified paragraph, clearly labelled side-by-side
• Updated Excel file with bilingual column headers and notes for the rows I mark
• PPT slides duplicated in each language, maintaining original fonts, charts, and animations
Acceptance criteria
• No data loss or reformatting in tables, charts, or bullet points
• Turnaround agreed per milestone; each hand-off reviewed and approved before final payment
If you have proven experience translating business or legal content into both dialects and are comfortable working directly in Excel and PowerPoint, let’s get started.
