Medical Portuguese-English Translation

I have a collection of technical documents in the medical sciences that must flow smoothly between Portuguese and English. The end readers are patients, so the tone needs to remain accurate with terminology yet warm and easy to understand—no stiff, academic wording.
Source files arrive mainly as Word and occasionally PDF. I will send them in batches; each batch returns as a bilingual file retaining the original layout, headings, tables, and any embedded graphics. Consistency of medical terminology is vital, so feel free to rely on your preferred CAT tool or glossary, as long as the final copy is human-sounding and error-free.
Turnaround is flexible but steady; I prefer rolling delivery rather than one large drop. Confidentiality is non-negotiable, and I am happy to sign NDAs if that helps.

• Faithful rendering of medical terms without literal word-for-word stiffness
• Language adapted for patient understanding (plain-language summaries where appropriate)
