Swahili-English Contract Translation
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I have a set of personal contracts drafted in Swahili that must be rendered into clear, idiomatic English, and a smaller batch that needs to move in the opposite direction. The originals average a few pages each and include names, dates, and clauses that have to stay perfectly aligned with the source language, so accuracy and strict attention to detail are non-negotiable.
You will receive the files in Word format; simply maintain the existing layout so that I can slot the translations straight back into my records. Any culturally specific terms or legal phrases that do not map one-to-one should be footnoted with a brief explanation. A short turnaround is preferred, but not at the expense of precision.
Deliverables
• Final bilingual versions of every contract (Swahili ↔ English) as editable Word files
• A separate glossary of key terms that recur throughout the documents
• Confirmation that the work has been proof-read for completeness and formatting consistency
Once the first file is approved, the remaining documents can follow in one bundle or in smaller milestones—whichever keeps quality highest.
