Bilingual Wedding Translator Needed
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I'm looking for a fluent English and Japanese translator to assist during my wedding day. The translator will stay with my in-laws and facilitate communication throughout the day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Before the ceremony: Translating conversations and helping guests mingle.
- During the ceremony: Ensuring non-English speaking guests understand the proceedings.
- Reception: Assisting with translations during speeches, toasts, and conversations.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Fluency in English and Japanese
- Previous experience in translation at events, preferably weddings
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to manage translation in real-time during various wedding activities
The wedding is the 27th of February 2027. They will be staying at coogee bay hotel so starting point there to the ceremony in randwick to back to coogee bay hotel for the reception. Time from 2pm to 11pm.
