Contract Description
• Currently we have 7 levels of ESL. Each level is divided into A & B month. it takes a student 2 months to complete one level. Each level has 10 units. For example:
Level 1A = 5 units
Level 1B = 5 units
• We are looking for someone to create lesson plans and materials for each ESL level. We have these lessons plans and materials completed based on Pearson books. However, we need them amended and updated so that we can move away from Pearson textbooks and create our own.
DUTIES:
• Developing assessment tools to measure students’ progress throughout the year
• Design the ESL academic program based on Director’s recommendations
• Design course planning and overview, course objectives units' titles, culminating course tasks, units’ learning goals
• Develop and design instructional material including structure with lessons, activities, and assessments
• Identify and include a variety of resources that will support instructional practices
• Complete and review all assessments and evaluations
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Knowledge of curriculum and growing success
• Excellent analytical reasoning, problem solving, time management, planning, project management, supervisory, administrative, and organizational skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Professional with attention to detail
• Comfortable using online teaching platforms. Currently our materials are on an online platform. Which needs to be moved to Moodle
• Reliable access to laptop/computer and internet
Education and experience:
• Curriculum design, assessment, and development experience
• Degree in Education, curriculum design or related field
• Experience working with a LMS like Canvas or Brightspace

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in ESL or TESOL or a related subject, such as linguistics.
• Minimum of 2 years of curriculum development experience
