Create Kids’ English Picture Book -- 2
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m putting together a beginner-friendly picture book that helps 4- to 6-year-olds with zero English background take their very first steps into the language. The whole focus is educational: every spread should gently introduce alphabet and phonics, reinforce numbers and counting, and build basic everyday vocabulary—all wrapped in bright, engaging visuals that hold a preschooler’s attention.
Here’s what I need from you: a fully illustrated, ready-to-print picture book manuscript. The text must be simple, repetitive, and rhythmic so children can predict what comes next and start recognising letter sounds. Illustrations should do half the teaching, clearly depicting each new word or number so a non-reader can still follow along. Think playful scenes, bold colours, and plenty of white space for clarity.
Acceptance criteria
• A complete manuscript with page-by-page text (approx. 24–32 pages)
• Original, high-resolution illustrations delivered in layered source files plus print-ready PDF
• Logical, cumulative progression that covers:
– Alphabet & phonics (each key letter introduced in a child-friendly word)
– Numbers 1–20 woven naturally into the storyline
– Core vocabulary (colours, shapes, family words, etc.) reinforced through context
• Consistent style and palette across all pages
• Final files cleared for commercial use
If this sounds like the kind of creative-educational blend you enjoy, let’s talk process and milestones so we can get this delightful learning tool into little hands soon.
