Business English Conversation Practice
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already read and write English comfortably, yet speaking during business meetings still feels awkward. This project centers on speaking—specifically, sharpening my conversational skills for professional settings so I can engage confidently in client calls, presentations, and day-to-day team discussions.
Scope of work
• Conduct live, 60-minute Zoom (or similar) sessions twice a week.
• Use realistic role-plays and scenario-based dialogue that mirror typical meetings: opening small talk, negotiating, clarifying points, and closing.
• Give real-time feedback on phrasing, tone, and overall clarity, then share notes in a collaborative Google Doc.
• Assign short homework tasks—audio recordings, targeted vocabulary drills, or brief writing prompts—to reinforce each lesson.
• Record every session so I can review and track progress.
Acceptance criteria
1. By week 4 I can deliver a two-minute self-introduction without noticeable hesitation.
2. By week 8 I can lead a mock meeting, summarize key points, and ask follow-up questions naturally.
3. Pronunciation issues are logged with corrective drills and a clear improvement history.
Include in your proposal a brief teaching outline, sample materials you use (slides, worksheets, audio notes), and the progress checkpoints you prefer (e.g., CEFR bands, pronunciation rubrics). All content should align with my upper-intermediate level and the IT services domain.
