Proofreader - Part Time -- 2

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Proofread original material after layout—or before, when appropriate—checking for proper grammar, structure, BGEA style, punctuation, accuracy, logic, and copyright of each piece
Proofread all material changed by the artist against the corrected original, checking for missed or duplicated copy, misspelling, and incorrect punctuation
Submit proofed projects to Creative Director for review
Proofread all printer proofs, checking for proper layout, with no missing elements, proper color break, correct fold, pages in right order, spots, and blemishes
Keep accurate records of work performed
Record details of proofing process for projects in departmental job trafficking database
