I am looking for an experienced freelance editor to provide proofreading and developmental editing services on a book I have written. The book has approximately X words and I am looking for help with securing copyrights as well.
The freelancer I am looking for should have an excellent knowledge of the English language, and an eye for perfect grammar and spelling. I need the freelancer to do a thorough evaluation of the entire book for style, tone, consistency, point of view, clarity and characterization. They will also be expected to acquire an understanding of the book's plot and purpose in order to bring out possible improvements.
Additionally, the freelancer should have experience with copyright laws. They should be able to provide advice on what steps to take to secure proper copyrighting. They should have knowledge of standard legal forms and procedures, and be able to provide guidance and assistance throughout the process.
