Creative Kids English Tutor

My group of 6- to 8-year-olds lights up when learning feels like an adventure, so every session must blend play with solid skill-building. We will meet online, work simultaneously in Google Docs, and weave in quick games, stories, and colourful visual aids to keep attention high.
Focus areas
• Reading comprehension: guiding them to decode meaning, predict outcomes, and talk about characters and setting.
• Grammar and spelling: playful drills, real-time corrections in our shared doc, and short follow-up activities they can finish off-screen.
Typical flow
We start with a five-minute warm-up game, jump into a shared writing prompt, then pause for mini-lessons on today’s target rules (capitalisation, punctuation, tricky word families, etc.). By the end of the 45-minute session the children will have a small polished paragraph they are proud to read aloud.
Deliverables each week
• Two interactive lessons (≈45 min) delivered live on Zoom or Meet
• The collaborative Google Doc with tracked changes left intact
• A brief progress note for parents highlighting wins and next-step goals
