Seeking copy-editor and proofreader for contemporary romance books
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
We are seeking a copy editor and proofreader for contemporary romance novels on an ongoing basis.
The editing and proofreading will need to be completed in Microsoft Word using the tracking changes feature and the Chicago Manual of Style. Only applicants who are proficient with the CMOS will be considered for this job.
We value communicative members of our team, especially if you will not be able to meet a deadline. Therefore, we are seeking a responsive person who responds within a business day and can occasionally perform editing and/or proofreading with short notice.
The budgeted rate is $0.003/word per book for copy editing and proofreading. We will need at least one 40-50K book edited and proofread each month.
