EDITOR/PROOFREADER FOR COOKBOOKS!
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are looking for an experienced proofreader/editor for our publishing company specializing in non-fiction books with a focus on cookbooks. Please describe your experience and qualifications, including the type of books you have worked on, especially for cookbooks.
Also, please mention your rate per word, and how much time you need to finish a non-fiction book of 10,000 words.
If all goes well with this first job, and the person hired performs according to our standards, we will be giving regular work, between one and two jobs a week. Please let us know your availability.
We work in Microsoft Word and expect the editing to be made within Words. We would like to get back 1 file that shows the corrections/suggestions and 1 file should be clean.
Please attach samples of your work, cookbooks are preferred. An editor with experience with cookbooks would be an advantage as most of our manuscripts are cookbooks.
