Epic Poem Copyedit, 50k

I have a 47-Canto epic of roughly 50,000 words that now needs a meticulous copy-edit. Your foremost task is to bring every mark of punctuation into line with standard English rules; that accuracy is my highest priority. While doing so, please keep each rhymed stanza locked to its strict eight-syllable measure and flag—or quietly remove—any stray characters or spacing glitches that might have crept in.

Most cantos follow the rhyming, metrical format, but a handful move into free verse. In those looser sections I only want obvious mechanical errors corrected; resist the urge to re-shape the lines unless something is clearly wrong.

The finished manuscript should come back to me in Word with Track Changes on so I can review every adjustment, plus a clean copy showing the text as it will read. If you spot anything that breaks the eight-syllable count, note it in a brief margin comment rather than rewriting the line.
