I have a set of marketing pieces—brochures, short web pages, tag-lines, and product one-pagers—that must be rendered in natural, persuasive Japanese while preserving every nuance of the original message. Tone consistency and cultural relevance are essential because the copy will be published publicly and must resonate with a Japanese audience.
The job is purely translation, but I value translators who can instinctively localize idioms and calls-to-action without drifting from the source intent. Turnaround times are flexible for quality work, yet I would like to move in staged batches so we can refine terminology early and keep the brand voice tight across all assets.
When you apply, focus on your direct experience translating marketing or advertising content. Briefly point me to one or two comparable projects, highlight any style guides you have worked with, and mention the primary CAT tools or glossaries you prefer—Trados, MemoQ, or similar—if any.
Deliverables (per batch):
• Clean, publication-ready Japanese text in an editable file (Word or Google Docs)
• A tracked-changes or side-by-side version for quick review
• Optional notes explaining any cultural adaptations you introduce
