Educational Website Portuguese Translation
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have an English-language educational website whose pages are entirely text-based, and I need every word adapted into clear, accurate Brazilian Portuguese. The tone throughout the site is friendly but informative—think concise how-to guides and short lessons rather than heavy academic prose—so I’m looking for someone who can replicate that approachable style for native Portuguese readers.
Scope
• About 25 webpages, each averaging 400–600 words.
• Only text needs translating; there are no embedded videos or audio tracks to subtitle.
• All content will be provided in editable HTML files or Google Docs, whichever you prefer.
What I expect
• Faithful translation that preserves nuance while sounding natural in Portuguese.
• Consistent terminology across pages (I can supply a short glossary of key terms).
• Light localisation: converting US spellings, date formats, and any culturally specific references.
• Delivery page-by-page so I can publish in batches and give feedback quickly.
Acceptance
A page is complete when the Portuguese version passes both a human read-through for flow and a basic spell-check in whatever CAT tool or QA software you use. I will give final sign-off once terminology and style match the sample page I’ll share at kickoff.
If you have experience translating educational or e-learning material and can turn this around within two weeks, let’s talk.
