Translation Assistance with Trados and ChatGPT

You will assist our project managers with data preparation, light machine translation post-editing (MTPE), and file handling in Trados.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with both Trados Studio and ChatGPT, and can follow established linguistic workflows precisely.

Key Responsibilities

Open and prepare translation projects in SDL Trados Studio (latest version).

Run machine translation (MT) and perform basic post-editing (MTPE) to ensure readability and accuracy.

Use ChatGPT (latest version) or other AI tools to assist with light linguistic corrections, terminology alignment, and consistency checks.

Perform quality checks, tag verification, and final file delivery.

Maintain clear records of completed work and progress updates.

Requirements

Proficiency with SDL Trados Studio (2022 or later).

Familiarity with machine translation and AI-assisted translation workflows.

Access to and working knowledge of ChatGPT (latest version).

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific linguistic guidelines.

Good English communication and time management skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in MTPE, localization, or translation QA.

Knowledge of terminology management and translation memory maintenance.

Familiarity with Excel, project portals, or CAT tool integrations.
