Shopee Product Image & Copy Localization from Taobao (Chinese to Southeast Asia Market)
We are looking for a talented freelancer to help localize our product content currently sourced from Taobao (in Chinese) for the Southeast Asian market, especially Singapore and Malaysia, on platforms like Shopee.
The scope includes not just translation, but also adaptation to local aesthetics, copy style, and platform image specs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate Chinese product titles and descriptions into natural, appealing English
• Localize selling points and tone to match Shopee-style product listings
• Redesign or adapt product images with English overlay text to suit Shopee dimensions and aesthetics
• Extract selling points from Taobao and reorganize them visually
• Optional: Polish layout design to match Southeast Asian consumer trends
Requirements:
• Proficient in Chinese and English
• Familiar with Shopee listing standards and Southeast Asian market preferences
• Skilled in Canva / Photoshop / image editing tools
• Good visual taste and marketing sense
• Bonus: Experience in health, beauty, or lifestyle products
Deliverables:
• Shopee-ready images (2–5 per product) with English text
• Final English product copy (title + highlights + description)
• Editable image source files (optional)
