To maintain the highest quality standards, I am looking to hire a part-time assistant who can help ensure flawless recordings by providing meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Listen attentively to audiobook narration recordings and help identify and correct any mistakes, inconsistencies, or errors.
- Conduct research on pronunciation and assist with verifying proper pronunciation of names, locations, and unique terms for various audiobook projects.
- Collaborate closely with the narrator to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure the final product meets our quality standards.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance the narrator's performance, pacing, and overall delivery.
Requirements:
- Excellent English comprehension skills, including a keen ear for grammar, pronunciation, and intonation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to catch subtle errors in narration.
- Proficient internet skills to conduct pronunciation research and access relevant resources.
- Reliable availability from 9am to 2pm EST on most weekdays to accommodate recording schedules.
- Prior experience in audiobook production, voice acting, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
