Long Audio Transcription Needed
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have several “normal” audio recordings—nothing highly technical or specialized—that I need converted into clean, well-structured text. Each file is longer than an hour and is supplied in standard audio formats (MP3 and WAV are the most common).
Your task is to listen through from start to finish and deliver an accurate transcription that reflects the spoken content clearly and coherently. If multiple speakers appear, please label them consistently (Speaker 1, Speaker 2, etc.). Basic non-verbatim clean-up is fine: remove filler words when they add no meaning, but keep the sense and tone intact.
Preferred workflow:
• You download each audio file from the shared drive I provide.
• Transcribe using your tool of choice—Express Scribe, oTranscribe, Descript, or straight manual typing are all acceptable—as long as the final text is human-checked for accuracy.
• Return a separate Word document (or editable Google Doc) for every recording, following the same filename as the source audio for easy tracking.
Acceptance criteria:
• Minimum 98 % word-level accuracy.
• Speaker labels where applicable.
• Timestamps every five minutes or at major topic changes.
• Delivered within the mutually agreed deadline.
I’ll review the first transcript before authorizing the rest, so we can lock in formatting and labeling early on. Happy to answer any clarifying questions once you’ve had a look at a sample file.
