Interview Audio Transcription Typist

I have a series of recorded interviews that need to be turned into clean, well-formatted transcripts. All source material is provided as audio files, and the end result should be a text document (Word or Google Docs) that captures every spoken word accurately, with speaker labels and natural paragraph breaks for readability.

Because the content is conversational, I’m counting on you to pick up subtle shifts in tone, identify different speakers, and note any moments that are inaudible or unclear. Timestamps are helpful when a section is difficult to hear, but otherwise I prefer a smooth, verbatim transcript without filler noises (“uh,” “um,” etc.).

You’ll receive the first batch of interviews once we agree on turnaround time. If everything looks good, more files will follow on a rolling basis. Please let me know your typical speed in minutes of audio per day and the tools you use (e.g., Express Scribe, Otter, Descript, or manual foot-pedal setups). Accuracy and confidentiality are essential, so include any experience transcribing sensitive or proprietary material.
