I'm seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to assist in curating an exclusive Japanese furniture exhibition. This event will showcase the elegance and craftsmanship of both traditional and contemporary Japanese design.
The primary goal of this exhibition is to educate the audience about Japanese craftsmanship, while appealing primarily to potential buyers. Hence, your role will include highlighting the artistry of Japanese furniture makers, as well as the cultural heritage, materials, and techniques behind each piece.
In terms of engagement activities, we plan to incorporate live demonstrations and interactive workshops. Therefore, experience in coordinating such activities would be beneficial.
Ideal skills and experience for the job include:
- Extensive knowledge and appreciation of Japanese design and craftsmanship
- Previous experience in curating exhibitions
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with potential buyers
